Dr Neil began with us in June 2019 after 18 years of working in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care medicine. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experiences and is eager to get to know our clients and their beloved pets.
Dr Neil was born in Scotland and moved to beautiful Australia 7 years ago, settling into a lovely acreage to call home with his young family. He is known for his gentle and caring nature with animals and has much experience with dogs, cats and also some birds and pocket pets! In his free time, Neil thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family, maintaining his property and having a wee cup of tea!
Andrew graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1987. He has worked in a number of small animal clinics in Melbourne, the United Kingdom and here in the Sunshine Coast which he has called home for the past 10 years. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle here and especially his favourite escape and past time, offshore fishing.
Andrew is the resident Surgeon at our Practice with significant expertise and interest in orthopaedics.
Geeta has been a part of Buderim Vet Surgery since 1982 and has been co-owner with Dr Sue Coote since 1991. She has a special interest in internal medicine and is the Veterinarian on the Sunshine Coast University’s Animal Ethics Committee.
Geeta has volunteered with the group Vets Beyond Borders, desexing feral dogs and vaccinating them against rabies in Ladakh, India. She is also involved in continuing education in South East Asia, and has lectured to local vets in Sri Lanka.
Brooke has been part of our team since late 2009 and has since graduated with her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the Animal Industries Resource Centre in Brisbane. She has a keen interest in animal welfare and geriatric care. She can help provide our clients with advice based on sound knowledge and also personal experience from her beloved 17 year old Himalayan, 10 year old Manchester Terrier and 10 year old Rottweiler.
