Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Summer was a welcome addition to our team in March 2025 and has since qualified as a Bachelor in Wildlife Science and a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Summer is just as her name suggests, like a warm summer day! She is kind, genuine and warm. She treats all of our patients gently and calmly and always takes the day within her stride, no matter how busy (and sometimes stressful) clinic life can get.

Summer was born in South Africa and grew up to experience the incredible wonders of both the South African and Australian wildlife. This passion lead her to discover a newfound love for Veterinary Nursing and she has dedicated herself to learning and expanding her skills in the industry. Outside of work, Summer enjoys soaking up the sunshine at the beach, keeping active and spending time with friends and family. She has a sweet Staffordshire girl named Lexie and a beautiful older-gentleman Bull Arab named Joe, that very quickly won the hearts of our team.
